Almond Butter Granola Almond Butter or peanut butter you can use either one for this recipe. This granola has no oil and you can adjust the sweetener to your taste. Try it with dry fruits or fresh fruit. Recipe and Ingredients Recipe and Ingredients

Recipe

  • 6 cups of Rolled Oats
  • 1 cup of Coconut
  • ¼ Sunflower Seeds
  • 1 cup of Walnuts
  • 1 cup of Pecans
  • ½ cup Almond Butter or Peanut Butter
  • ¾ Cup Water
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup or sweetener of choice- to taste
  • 1 Tbs. Vanilla

Directions

  1. Mix oats, coconut, sunflower seeds and nuts in a large bowl.
  2. Put almond butter, water, maple syrup and vanilla in a saucepan and simmer for five minutes while stirring.
  3. Let cool a little bit.
  4. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.
  5. If it’s not too hot with use your hands to mix and form lumps.
  6. Drop on cookie sheet.
  7. Bake overnight at 170 degrees or bake at 225 for 1 hr and 30 minutes. Check if it’s dry and lightly browned. If baking at 225 make sure it does not burn and stir often.
